Training for Student Academic Advisors Conducted at Debark University
On May 3, 2025, Debark University organized a one-day training program for student academic advisors. The primary objective of the training was to enhance the advising skills of staff members and to familiarize them with the updated regulations outlined in the recently revised senate legislation.



Academic advisors from all departments across the university actively participated in the training, which was coordinated by the Office of the Main Registrar. The program covered a range of important topics, including the roles and responsibilities of academic advisors, strategies for professional development, and the importance of participating in seminars. Additionally, the training emphasized the significance of supporting students effectively and developing key interpersonal skills such as empathy, communication, and problem-solving.
