Overview: The directorate serves as the strategic engine for the expansion of University through globally connected research programs and high-impact initiatives. In order to establish Debark University as a pioneer in scientific innovation and worldwide collaboration, we are committed to obtaining outside funding, overseeing intricate research projects, and cultivating global partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
1. International Research Partnerships:
- Initiate and formalize Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with global institutions to co-host large-scale research projects.
- Represent the university in international research consortia and networking events to attract collaborative funding.
- Manage the mobility of international scholars and collaborative researchers visiting the university.
2. Project Oversight & Management:
- Monitor the progress of funded research projects to ensure they meet deadlines and deliver high-quality scientific output.
- Liaise between university researchers and international funding agencies regarding project reporting and financial accountability.
- Ensure that research projects align with potential areas
3. Capacity Development for Researchers:
- Organize specialized training in Grant Writing, Scientific Communication, and Project Management for academic staff.
- Mentor young researchers in navigating the complexities of international project portals and competitive funding environments.
