About the center
The Business, Technology, Innovation and Incubation Center (BTIIC) of Debark University is an institutional platform established to promote entrepreneurship, innovation, technology development, business incubation, and the commercialization of knowledge. The Center aims to bridge the gap between academic knowledge, research outputs, innovative ideas, and practical business solutions by supporting students, graduates, researchers, aspiring entrepreneurs, startups, and the wider community.
The Center provides a supportive environment for identifying business opportunities, developing innovative ideas, transforming research outputs into marketable products and services, and nurturing sustainable enterprises. Through entrepreneurship training, business advisory services, mentorship, innovation support, incubation programs, and strategic partnerships, BTIIC seeks to strengthen entrepreneurial capacity, encourage technology-driven solutions, promote self-employment, and contribute to sustainable socioeconomic development.
