About Directors
The Main Registrar’s Office acts as the primary center for all operational issues related to admission, registration, maintaining academic records, determining academic status, evaluating credits, handling add/drop situations, certifying graduates, issuing academic transcripts and diplomas, verifying degrees, organizing the graduation ceremony, preparing the academic calendar of the University, assigning classrooms, and managing the issuing, renewing, and replacing of students’ identification cards. and ensuring the enforcement of academic policies within the institution. To deliver high-quality and efficient services to its customers, the Registrar’s office has implemented the Student Information Management System (SIMS) to automate registrar functions.
The Main Registrar’s Office is dedicated to preserving the integrity and confidentiality of academic records while assisting the institution’s mission of academic excellence.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Recruiting and enrolling students in accordance with the university’s established plan.
- Maintaining student academic records in an appropriate and systematic manner.
- Receiving applications for university admission and forwarding them to the applicable colleges.
- Providing student transcripts and credentials.
- Issuing, renewing, and replacing student identification cards.
- Compiling a list of students recommended for graduation and submitting it to the Senate for their approval.
- Scheduling and managing the readmission process for returning students;
- Arranging for the registration of students based on their courses of study.
- Generating and maintaining current, confidential, and permanent records of all students, including those who have dropped out, been dismissed, withdrawn, and alumni of undergraduate and graduate programs.
- Organizing, managing, and disseminating current data on student enrollment, admissions, withdrawals, attrition/completion, dropouts, and graduates.
- Preparing the University’s Academic Calendar annually in consultation with the ARTTCSVP and presenting it to the Senate for their approval; ensuring the timely distribution of this Calendar to relevant University units and ensuring strict compliance with the Calendar by academic units.
- Ensuring that pertinentlaws and policies, directives from the Ministry of Education, the Senate and its committees, and guidelines concerning student intake capacity, selection, admission, placement, student enrollment management, curricula, and graduation issues such as course and credit requirements are rigorously followed.
- Executing the University’s policies concerning enrollment and management of student records.
- Carrying out the responsibilities and duties assigned in close collaboration with the relevant academic units and other offices within the University.
- Coordinating and processing the recruitment, admission, placement, and graduation of students.
