President's Message

 

The Office of the Vice-President for Academic, Research, Technology Transfer & Community Service provides direction and support to academic units; enhances the research activities of the University; and engage in technology transfer and community services. The office ensures that university strategies and policies are implemented with institutional efficiency and inclusiveness. It strives to effectively align the university’s resources with its strategic priorities and academic mission. The office is responsible for:-

Formulate and provide policy guidelines on planning, development and management of academic programmes;

Prepare curricula/ syllabi, and rules and regulations governing the implementation of academic programmes;

Have the overall responsibility of direction, organization and administration of learning and research programmes in the University;

Be responsible for promoting and coordinating research, scientific publications, innovation and technology transfer to industry and the community;

Establish and maintain linkages and collaborations with both local and international universities, research institutions,  and industries;

Guide deans of colleges or Schools or Institutes, Academic Directors, Director of Research and community  service , and heads of academic departments
